Upon browsing the internet today, I discovered Condé Nast are opening GQ & Vogue restaurants in a bid to spread their brand values beyond glossy paper.
Currently they own a GQ bar, Vogue café and a Tatler club, but this is seemingly not enough. In interviews the chairman of Condé Nast International, Jonathan Newhouse has said he believes restaurants are a 'Natural way to extend brand values.'
The company are also planning on opening these resturants in countries where they do not currently publish, a perhaps clear attempt to reach a new market.
What ever could follow?
